NEUVO TÚ

Stress Management by Yoga, Pranayama & Meditation

Yoga or Yog is derived from the word ‘yuj’ meaning to join together. Hence, yoga is commonly understood as ‘union’.
The union refers to your physical body with your spiritual self!.

Yoga can help reduce stress because it promotes relaxation, which is the natural opposite of stress. Yoga can benefit three aspects of ourselves that are often affected by stress: our body, mind and breath. You don’t have to wait to feel stressed out to do yoga, and you shouldn’t!

It is vital to look at yoga from a holistic point of view and imbibe it in our ‘dincharya’, daily routine and focus on moving towards ‘chittasvrittinorodh’, having a mind devoid of afflictions or disturbances.

Also, incorporating calming yoga pranayama or breath regulation practices works as a type of stress management technique. It can help soothe the sympathetic nervous system, known as a fight-or-flight stress response.

Kineree Shah has been running such well designed sessions for company offsites, young adults and regular hourly sessions for yog enthusiasts.
